Maraging Steel Alloy Chemical Properties
The chemical composition of maraging steel is generally high in nickel, cobalt, and molybdenum. The carbon content in maraging steel’s chemical composition is considered an impurity and is generally kept to values of less than 0.03 per cent. The following table describes the chemical compositions of the different alloy grades of maraging steel.
